Tanks a lot from Stockholm!! To get size of the o-ring in advance save me a lot of time and make it possible to do the whole process of replacing them at same time. And of course it also save me a lot of money to order o-ring by size instead of buy very expensive oem parts from Honda. To buy patrol and heat resistant (FPM) o-rings in this size online here i Sweden was 15 SEK instead of 800 SEK for oem parts.

The original is encased in the 'replica.' The current owner hired a preservation company to protect it from further decay. And moved it out of the swamp.

We had a portable for a couple of years, but it didn’t power everything we wanted power to and it was a hassle every time power went out, so we went whole house generator a few years back - best thing we ever did. No hassle now and peace of mind. Once a year check up on oil, spark plug, etc and power is off for only a few seconds before generator kicks on.

I spent so many weekends in the Aladans castle arcade there in the early 80’s… now I own all those old arcade games in my basement. A childhood dream come true

Dealing w an injured oriole I found floundering on our outside patio yesterday. We feed jelly too; brought her in, something going on w her legs but in the past 24 hours she is eating welll and pooping; and seems comfortable with me caring. She is improving with some strength returning to her legs though she cannot stand yet. Will be contacting rescue help; she is a dear and will do everything to get her through this. Don’t know what happened.

Thank you for your video, very imformative. My dad was a jack of all trades and used to repair small machinary for neighbors after he retired. Someone dropped off this same model lawnmower to him to repair and never came back to get it, so he gave it to me 3 years ago and it work likes a charm. I lost my dad in September last year. He was 90 years old. He was still working on machinary before he passed away. It is the last piece of him that I have to cherish and I think of him everytime I cut my grass. I wanted to do some maintenance on it so I can perserve it, so I came to YT and found your video. (Normally I would call my dad, but can't do that anymore😢) So I really appreciate your video. You made it simple enough for the beginner lawn mower mechanic. Thanks again❤

Hi! Super helpful video. Thank you. I took apart my assembly and it was too seized to repair so I bought a new one (21yo expedition). But after replacing the assembly, the rear wiper still isn’t working. I bought the rear wiper motor and plugged that it and it still wasn’t triggering anything, so I’ve concluded I think it might be electrical unfortunately. Any other tips before I inevitably spend too much money at a repair shop?

So close to election too. I don't think any replacement will be able to build up hype quick enough to beat trump. I hope RFK becomes a more serious contender now.

One time I cracked the shit out of my oil pan and it was leaking like a sieve. I JB welded the crack, put fresh oil in, drove it to the shop. Saved me a tow. It was definitely leaking still but it made it about 20 mins from my home.

On the two screws? What's the *BASELINE* settings? Turn all the way in to shut them off, then...what? How many turns to open, just to get the baseline where it will run? I can take things from there.

Sorry for going off topic. Your body of work is vast and truly amazing. I spent about five hours last night watching all kinds of videos. I'm a big Who fan and I had no idea about Keith Moon's stay at the holiday inn of Flint. Anyway, I noticed that you spent a large part of your career at the Ford transmission plant on Van Dyke and you've posted a lot of auto related fixes. So I have some questions and I don't assume that you know the answers but I thought it would be worth a shot because the stakes are a bit high. I have a 2010 Ford Taurus. Best car I've ever owned. It has 420,000 miles because I take great care of it. However, I think the transmission is in it's golden years. I'm getting some slippage and sometimes it shifts into gears with a bit of force. I'm obviously not going to sink a lot of money into this car. So I'm wondering if something like "Lucas transmission fix" might help. They claim that it stops slippage. Half of the Internet says it's a great solution but the other half says it's snake oil. I checked the transmission fluid level and it's fine (closer to the "full" range). So my questions are: do you think this stuff is worth trying? Could it make things worse? Since my current fluid level is full, if I add the Lucas treatment it will technically be in the "overfill" Category. I talked to a couple mechanic friends and both said to give it a shot. And one of them said not to worry about the overfill situation. What are your thoughts? Again, don't feel obligated to respond. I thank you in advance for any advice you could provide.

Thanks for the hint. We had house sitters here while we were on vacation. The first screen was full of grease. I poured really hot water down that arm hole and it loosened up the grease that had built up and allowed the bottom arm to spin again. I got that product I'm sure the problem will be fixed in a few hours. You saved me a lot of $$.
